About Me

I’m a highly experienced and award-winning Sound Designer of radio commercials, trails, documentaries and podcasts.

 

I began in radio as a presenter in the late 80s and moved into audio production around the turn of the century. I've been creating audio content ever since.

I'm now a freelancer who until very recently worked for the BBC as a Studio Director at Radio 5 Live, and then as Head Of Production for Made In Manchester Productions. I mainly record, edit and mix documentaries and podcasts, but also do location recording work as well. There are some recent examples of my broadcast and podcast work here.
